Frequently Asked Questions
Clear information about account security, verification, uploads, and platform behavior.
How does cmore protect account information?
Passwords are stored using PHP’s secure one-way password hashing functions and are never saved as readable text. Sensitive changes, including updates to an email address, username, or password, require confirmation with the current password. The platform also uses CSRF protection, prepared database queries, restrictive upload rules, and server-side MIME validation.
Which files can be uploaded?
Posts accept JPG, PNG, WEBP, and MP4 files. A single post may contain several images and videos in any supported combination. Profile pictures accept JPG, PNG, and WEBP images only.
How is the blue Verified badge obtained?
An account becomes eligible after reaching at least 10,000 followers and publishing at least 50 posts. Once both conditions are met, the account owner may use the eligibility check in Settings to receive the blue badge. Hovering over this badge displays “Verified”.
What does the purple CMORE Team badge mean?
The purple badge identifies an account officially connected with the platform authors. It is assigned only through an administrative database procedure. Hovering over it displays “CMORE Team”. When an account has both badge flags, the purple badge is displayed.
Do verified accounts receive special treatment in search?
Posts from verified accounts receive a limited ranking boost in search results. This does not guarantee the first position and does not replace the basic text match used by the search system. Purple team accounts receive a slightly stronger boost than blue verified accounts.
How are post views counted?
A view is counted once per signed-in account or browser session for each post. Repeatedly refreshing the same post from the same account or session does not continuously increase its view count.
Can platform staff remove inappropriate posts?
Yes. Database moderation procedures are included for deleting an individual post or all posts created by a specified user. Associated database records are removed automatically. Uploaded files listed by the procedure should also be deleted from the server’s userdata directory.
